Ignacio Amigo is a science writer and strategic communications expert. A biochemist by training, he holds a PhD in molecular biology and a degree in science journalism. He is interested in climate change, the environment, urban studies and scientific research in general.

He has lived and worked in Spain, Portugal and Brazil, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. His work has been featured in Science, Nature, Discover, The Guardian, El País and many other outlets.
